The excitement of unravelling our parcel as it was heavily wrapped in cardboard and bubble wrap felt like a drawn out drum roll. Elena was with us during a difficult time when our younger boy was undergoing surgery for a head tumour. The surgery went well and he has almost completely recovered since.
Elena's pictures of our family during the tense weeks of the surgery have a deep quality or love shining through them and we will cherish them for ever.
